  • 1965 Daytona 2 door value

I am looking at a 1965 Studebaker Daytona 2dr that is in need of a total restoration.
It seems to be fully loaded with pdb, ps, a/c, 283 with auto, bucket seats.
What would be a reasonable price to pay for it?

    Thanks

This is a real hard question. If it needs "a total restoration" that will cost much more than the car will be worth when finished. If this doesn't scare you off (I assume no sentimental attachment) and without pictures, I would say $500 to $700. You will be able to buy a nice Daytona Sport Sedan for much less than a full restoration will cost.

The asking price is $2500 and I have yet to see it in person.
However from the pics it needs paint, interior, not sure about the drive train it looks to be have been sitting for quite sometime. Probably better to find a running car and I actually would prefer a 64 with a Studebaker engine.

      Thanks

By how you discribe it $2500 may be a tad too much .
