(Warning... little brag here..)
Went to a real nice show in Statesboro, GA yesterday.
Almost 200 cars were there.
Only two Stude's....A primered Daytona and the Yellow pos..
The awards section was pretty busy..

(Love the high tech Jawjuh 'stage';))
I was lucky enough to snag two awards, both being pretty neat...
Was given a 'Top Ten' truck award...
(and there are a LOT of trucks in the SE, and some really sharp ones, too. A guy had his International pickup there.. One owner, 350,000 miles, all perfectly restored.. Awesome.
And also was presented with the 'Best Orphan Award'..
That one really suprised me, as there were some great cars and trucks there...

Weather was perfect. Cool 60 in the morning, warming up to 80 by mid afternoon... Shade tents were out in force.. I borrowed some shade, kept my hat on, and still got a good sunburn...
Fun day....

Congrats. Jeff, I went to that show several years ago and also won best orphan with my Hawk. The judging was peoples choice, the weather was HOT!! and I had a cooler full of Root Beer! 1st place was an easy win. only cost me about .5o$ per vote. NT

Baxley meeting was a mixed blessing. WE HAD 8 STUDEBAKERS, About 40 people, good food. and I had all 6 of my grandkids there. BUT... I was elected president again. I can't seem to get away from it. NT
