    Electrical: Converting a1950 Champion to 12 volts

    Looking for some guidance in converting my 1950 Champion to 12 volts and an alternator. plans are then to install a rotary compressor so I can have a/c for summer driving in Texas.

    Advise or directions would be appreciated.

    My 6-volt 50 Champion has A/C. 4 windows and 60 mph. arr-arr-arr.

      Get Randy Rundle's Conversion Guide. It covers it all. He's a Studebaker guy and also supplies the parts you need.
