  • I'm going crazy waiting

After that little teaser from Art Unger, I haven't been able to think about much else than getting my May 2011 issue of Turning Wheels. If he meant what I hope he meant, my car will be on the cover.

I am offering a decal of my Studebaker Dude logo (see my avatar) to the first person that posts a picture of the cover on the forum. That is dependent on me being correct in my assumption that my car is on it.

I usually read about the new issue on the forum a week or so before I get mine in the mail.

Dang I was going to give Jon a hard time and tell him it's not on the front cover. (G) that it had a Coupe Express, and is a truck issue.

I'm sure glad Keith beat you to it. That would have messed me up!

I've been looking forward to this one too. Not sure if it's in this issue or the next one, but I'm looking forward to seeing the Co-Operator...

The back cover is much more preferable: no writing on it to take away from the photo. If it was me taking that photo, I would have arranged to unhook the ropes and remove that stanchion in the foreground for an unosbtructed shot. Its often easier than one thinks to obtain permission to remove a stanchion to get a good photo.

I have pictures without the stanchions but I preferred this one. I was there for the whole set up process. I thought the stanchions added to the composition of the shot. A lot of people thought it was going to be given away by the casino. I had one guy tell me with great certainty that he was going to win it.
