  • Lark Stock Car Picture

Yesterday, while surfing the H.A.M.B. website I came across a picture of a Lark at Daytona. It is in the historic stock car thread. I don't know if it has been posted here before but I thought it was interesting.

I've seen the car at Daytona. I think I heard it was driven by a woman at one time. NT

Neil: The replica of Harold Smith's 1959 Daytona 500 entry often seen at race car shows at the Speedway still has it's 6 cylinder engine in it. The Lark that Lois Tyler raced at Daytona International Speedway in an all female event has not been duplicated. Her car was out of Ft. Lauderdale.

I stumbled across an ad from last year for the Harold Smith Lark stock car replica that's for sale, don't know if it's still available. Looks neat.
