  • Wheels / Tires: need replacement wheels

I need to get some wheels for my '51 champion. It's got stock 15" rims on it but cant get them cleaned up enough to get tires to bead up on them without the rims getting to thin. I was wondering what vehicles would the wheels interchange with and would I need to buy spacers if I go with different wheels? Tried looking through previous threads and tech data but couldn't find anything. Thanks for the help.

Depends on where you are at. I have 4 stock Stude rims that I would give away but you have to pick them up in Los Angeles.

south east corner of Kansas. Hmmm. Who's in the southeast corner of Kansas than might have wheels for an early '50s Champion.

Iknow this isn't exactly the SE corner, but..

As long as your bolt pattern is 5 on 4 1/2". I will have to measure them, width wise 2 are narrower than the other 2. I used them on a 53K. Narrow in the front and wide in the rear. PM me if interested. I am by the 710 and 105.

Alan- I assume the narrow two would be 5" wide. Your not that far from me. Excuse my ignorance, but can I PM from the site? Otherwise, email me at seymoursbackyard@hotmail.com or phone me at 626 755 5802
