What is it, and what year ? Is the dash treatment unusual?

Looks a lot like my '48 business coupe dash 'cept for the wood grain dash. Mine has the wood grain instrument surround but the dash is single color paint. Also, my steering wheel has a horn button and not a horn ring. Obviously this one is a fancier trim level.

Here's a outside shot of the same car.

That was a well optioned car. It looks like there is no radio, or heater, but factory turn signals, factory outside mirror and door awnings. If the car was sold originally around the gulf coast, not having a heater would not be unusual.

I believe it has a heater?

That pic confirms it. I can see just a tiny bit of the heater controls by looking on the right side past horn button. The controls to the left show "W"-wiper, "H"-hood release, "OD"-overdrive pull cable. The non factory knob closest to the column could be fog lights.

Do you have pics of the grille?

What were those clips on the steering column meant to hold?
