  • Circus Studebaker needs rescue

Just got my July issue of Hemmings Classic Car and on page 10 there is a picture and a short article about a derelict and vandelized 54 Starliner that was used in a circus act and then abandoned. It has a center grille made out of a GT Hawk grille cut down that now resembles a 58 Edsel or Lancia grille, the side grilles are still intact, the hood has been modified with fiberglass so it is raised to flow with the grille. It is in a holding yard located in Canutillo, Texas, close to El Paso,a former circus yard it states. The editors are hoping someone will rescue it.
