In this case it really is OK to ask "Who made the motor in it?"

Thanks for the pix! Is it running?

Oh! Oh! Oh! the 03 Electric, how wonderful. and the 57 Classic--love it! (even if I'm crazy for 57 sedans, that is such a sweet one...)

That's a nice assortment of Studes. That '02 Electric is unbelievable! I love them all though.
I guess that's part of the Studebaker sickness.

We saw the '03 electric coming down the road to the show field. The owner with his hand on the "tiller". That car did not make a sound. THe only thing you heard was the tires on the pavement. It looked to be unrestored with the original everything!! And to think, the owner is less than 20 miles from my home. Great show, cool cars and a beautiful but windy day. I'll certainly be there next year.

i went back later to try to take more pics of the 1903, but there were too many people around it... loved his horn - sounded like a loud bicycle "ringer"...

That is so cool! I wish I'd seen it, and more power (argh! argh! arhg!) to the owner!

Great pictures, Kerry. Pictures of the beach and Carolina? or Kure Beach? (downtown) made us home sick even more.

that '02 Electric is a treat to see and a really rare bird!

I have two ads from 1903 where Studebaker says the following about their Electric Cars:
The Studebaker Electric Automobile is also deserving of the most careful consideration by those who are seeking for a practical horseless carriage.

The Studebaker Electric Automobile is a practical auto-vehicle which has proved itself thoroughly satisfactory for use in city or country. It is clean, silent and requires no expert mechanical knowledge to operate.
Home of the famous Mr. Ed!
