In talking with Forum member 2R5 earlier today we got on the subject of Canadian Studebaker cars. I mentioned that I had been under the impression that the percentage of 1951 and newer 6 cylinder powered cars ordered was higher in Canada verses U.S produced. I then thought it would be interesting to find out the answer.

the Can vs US cars production numbers seem to differ quite a bit. Canadian cars were almost 50/50 or (more towards the 6 cyl) 6 vs v8 engines where US cars were more like 60 40 or less (more towards V8 engines after 1951 in the USA)
Gas was more money, 6 cyl cars were less expensive, so 6 cyl cars sold more in Canada from numbers I have seen.....Comment
