In talking with Forum member 2R5 earlier today we got on the subject of Canadian Studebaker cars. I mentioned that I had been under the impression that the percentage of 1951 and newer 6 cylinder powered cars ordered was higher in Canada verses U.S produced. I then thought it would be interesting to find out the answer.

The topic has been discussed before,and can be serched.
the Can vs US cars production numbers seem to differ quite a bit. Canadian cars were almost 50/50 or (more towards the 6 cyl) 6 vs v8 engines where US cars were more like 60 40 or less (more towards V8 engines after 1951 in the USA)
Gas was more money, 6 cyl cars were less expensive, so 6 cyl cars sold more in Canada from numbers I have seen.....
