    Saw this in a magazine this morning.
    Looks very interesting for a Studebaker retrofit (that can be undone).

      These have been around for a long time. I have used them on a 70's Blazer project I did in the 90's.
      The gears are plastic and if your regulator isn't perfect, then the gears will strip very easily.
      Someone used this system on it and it was so cobbled up and broken, that I ordered a new one and redid it correctly (with new regulators and window channel).
      worked fine after.

        Good to know.
        I've replaced several Chrysler style plastic gear strips over the years, but wondered about this setup.
        Looked 'unobtrusive' for the purist type..
        Feedback is appreciated.

          If you want the quality, without the headaches, SPW (specialty power window's) kit's are probably the best around. Not for the caso,
          4 window kit cost me 795.
