  • Finishing touches

I felt the engine cover needed something right down the middle so I have been looking for Studebaker trim that might fit the bill. I found a deck lid piece from a 40 something car and bought it on eBay. I didn't fit as it was curved, but I liked the design. I took it to a local graphics place and they made me a domed sticker in the same design.

I think it finishes it off quite nicely.

Very nice John, at first look I thought you had it pin striped. I love it when folks come up with original ideas. I'll look forward to seeing it in person, that is if I make it too a meeting! lol

        Engine?

Beautiful Decal, but what kind of an Engine looks like somebody's CASKET? Lol!

Well, you know how it is nowadays with all the new cars that have their engines covered up with a "Shield" of some kind ~~ for "Arts Sake."

Looks good to me, now you'll have to do something about that master cylinder.
