I have changed out a few items on my Hawk. It now has an Edelbrock carb and a Sanden A/C compressor. I have saved the original WCFB, and air cleaner, along with the original York compressor. So I was wondering, is saving those items so that some owner down the road could restore the car to what it was, worth the trouble? Would a buyer pay a little more for a car with the original parts or am I just wasting space in my garage?

Determine how long you plan to enjoy your car as you've built it and offer those parts to someone who is currently doing an original restoration.Brad Johnson,

Ya never know. I've had buyers refuse to take the original parts when they were offered and I've had buyers go out and spend big bucks to put it back the way it was when I didn't have the original parts.
