    San Diego Broken Stude
Anyone in the San Diego area that can assist a fellow from Idaho that has a 1962
six cylinder Lark at a repair shop in San Diego.
It needs a starter and torque converter.
I have these parts but I thought that maybe someone in the area would have
    these parts to expedite things.
I live quite a ways away from there and it seems the shop is not too familiar with these cars.It has been there for a while. It is 10 below zero here and packing and shipping these items will be difficult for an old man.
Let me know if anyone is driving to southern California from the Midwest.
I am on the intersection of Interstate 80 and Interstate 55.
    Please note.
I finally got rid of AT&T and only use my cellphone now. 815 212 2389

Just a thought, Bob. If the starter and torque converter are both gone, there could be an alignment problem at the bell housing. If the shop isn't familiar and doesn't have the manual to do a dial in of the bell housing, the problem may persist. Mine went back for a second rebuild for exactly that reason.

P.S., I bet Bob Petersen has what the man needs and knows how to do the correct install.....

It is more than 500 miles from San Diego to the Bay Area. And that shop in Diego is going to want some $cratch.

Plenty of help to get him started toward someone who can do it right in San Diego. Too bad our favorite Navy retiree isn't still there, but he may know where to call for the best folks with parts.

Yes-- there is a pretty big SDC Club down that way. SOMEONE down there has what he needs!!! Maybe Clark can forward this to those who'd know. I'm thinkin' Terry, Eric, and maybe Bill? (I'm not certain I still have their email addies- otherwise I'd do it, sorry)
