I have told that guy several times the grille won't fit a Studebaker.
    He is convinced he's right.

Fits Mercedes, too. After all, they were in bed with Studebaker.

Why do people say..."front grill", or "front windshield", or even "front head lights" ?

Unless you have a Corvair or Volkswagon...there aren't any (many) cars with a "rear" grill, there is no such thing as a rear windshield...and rear head lights......?

That's so people don't get confused on the cars that have a BBQ grill.

Years ago when I worked for a car dealer, we had two mechanics that were exceptional. One of them explained why they were so good..."Kevin has a 2-pound sledge, I have a torch. Between the two of us we can fix anything!"

On this past weekend's MotorWeek, the host said rear taillights. I said to Cathy something about where else would they be.

I've always wanted to see a Studebaker grille that would fit a 300c. And trim, hub caps, etc. Basically make a modern Lark or some kind...

Why would anyone put one of those grills on a Lark and make it look like a lesser car?

IIRC, the Shrock brothers did something like that and make a Sebring into a modern Hawk. Anyone got a pic?
