I suppose anything will fit if you try hard enough.

I have told that guy several times the grille won't fit a Studebaker.
He is convinced he's right.

Fits Mercedes, too. After all, they were in bed with Studebaker.

Why do people say..."front grill", or "front windshield", or even "front head lights" ?

Unless you have a Corvair or Volkswagon...there aren't any (many) cars with a "rear" grill, there is no such thing as a rear windshield...and rear head lights......?

That's so people don't get confused on the cars that have a BBQ grill.

Years ago when I worked for a car dealer, we had two mechanics that were exceptional. One of them explained why they were so good..."Kevin has a 2-pound sledge, I have a torch. Between the two of us we can fix anything!"

On this past weekend's MotorWeek, the host said rear taillights. I said to Cathy something about where else would they be.

I've always wanted to see a Studebaker grille that would fit a 300c. And trim, hub caps, etc. Basically make a modern Lark or some kind... ;)

Which one's holding the roll of DUCT TAPE?

Why would anyone put one of those grills on a Lark and make it look like a lesser car?

IIRC, the Shrock brothers did something like that and make a Sebring into a modern Hawk. Anyone got a pic?

Here's the Hawk/Sebring you speak of:

Photo looks to be taken at the engineering building. Proving once again Studebaker was ahead of their time...
I like it. I would drive it!!

I generally don't want to be critical with other members styling but I think your new bumper treatment is just too black, too tall and too wide. It just doesn't go with the rest of the theme. If I didn't know better, I say it was just added with a magic marker.;)

On the other hand, the grill and headlight treatment is spectacular and I hope the lower treatment is in-kind.

That's not a bumper, it's a Lark Hovercraft!

Am I nuts (yes, just ask my wife) or does that Lark look just like a 62 Plymouth Valiant?

:) No more than any other stock 61 dual headlight Lark, :) ;) I see you working though. ;) Plymouth copying Studebaker???

"Hovercraft"
:D Now that's funny, didn't see that one coming. :p

"black magic marker"
:o all this talk today about M2 Machines stude trucks with snow plows made me
"add" the black plow.

 I don't think everyone is ready to see what lurks behind the curtain.
I will ask.....when it comes to the grille to use a little imagination.
Grill will be powdercoated black and then just the leading edges of the horizontal bars
will be exposed polished aluminum, (when finished....you won't see the vertical bars)

Thought maybe that was a Nerf bumper-spoiler design.
