  • CASO Alert: Carburetor question

    Will a 1953-57 (259ci) carburetor bolt to a 1951-52 (232ci) (late) "H" Commander manifold without rermachining/modifying the manifold?

    1951 - 52 (LATE) "H" COMMANDER, 380313 (6-111A), STROMBERG AAUVB-26
    1953 - 57 COMMANDER, 6-112F, -113, -115A,-116, -117B, C, STROMBERG WW

Yes, basically the same carb, but with the 90 degree air horn.

But would probably have to mount it backwards or else rework the throttle linkage as the '51 and '52 is on the passenger side.

If you are needing the hard to find 6-107 or 6-111 AAUVB Stromberg with the right hand throttle and left hand Choke heater we have a couple we are currently re-building, also a few later models. Please use the Private Message system to let me know if I can help, I am in the Northwest.

Thanks guys, some how I knew there would be a catch. So I'll keep looking for a STROMBERG AAUVB-26 or equal.
