I hesitate to tell you this based on your forum name but his car was originally Tahiti Coral. I tried to talk him into painting it the original color but his mind was made up. Jeff was not a Studebaker guy when he bought this project car. He was just a car guy that thought the Studebaker looked cool. He joined our club when he got the car and he IS a Studebaker guy now.

He and his wife are great people and they have been a big assett to our club. Purists may whince at placing an SBC in a Studebaker but look at the fine ambassador for our club that is now on the road.

Besides, Studebaker themselves put SBCs in their cars.

I love the Karel Staple Club because we have so few members that are anti modifying their cars that they are hesitant to speak up.

Nice car, nice people, poor example of my favourite model of Hawk. In fact, the Power Hawk and Grand Turismo are the only Hawks I like.
