Biggsy might be able to tell us how many Body #1 cars DIDN'T survive!

(Do you have any #1's in your collection?)

        Richard,
I know you will include the 'one of one' 1940 (I believe) you wrote about in the Antique Review a few years ago. It was discussed on the forum also.

Gary; Thanks for the reminder, I had forgotten about that car being body #1. It was the dual side mounted '40 President Club Sedan, body #6C F2 1. I believe it is now owned by a collector in Virginia. It was a California assembled car.

Of the over 100 that I have owned, still own and my 2 Sons Cars, I don't think we have or had any lower than Dave's '57 Parkview 2 Dr. Wagon's Body #30.

I once owned 63S-1001. Wish I had taken a picture of the serial no and tag. It had an all chrome dash around the switches. Unlike other 63's I had. No pix on that either.

                YES< body number 1 's are rare.

I have seen 2 serial # 1's though. They were both Hawks. One was the 1st Hawk a 56 with serial# 1 and the other was the 1st 64 Hawk with Serial 1 (prototype) Ironic!
