  • 41 coupe I.D.?

How can I tell which model coupe I have. It's been modified and there's no data plates.
    Thanks.

Pictures would be helpful. It could be either a Champion or Commander. The grilles are different between the two models IIRC.

The '41 & '42 Commander and President Sedan Coupe were the only '42's with a one piece curved windshield. All Sedans Commander. President. Champion had two piece flat windshields. Check with Vic Phillips for a replacement wind shield. With out and side trim this could be a SKYWAY model. See May 1980 editiion of TW's for coverage. I have an extra copy of the aforementioned TW's. email me at LTCRP@q.com for price and mailing arrangements.

I enlarged the picture and can see the holes in the front door that would accomodate the double band of side trim SO it's not a skyway.
