  • 52 Champion Clunking Noise

When I take a sharp turn or the body leans heavy to one side I get a one time clunk out of the back of the car. I notice this especially when the weight of the car shifts from one side to the other. Is this the rear springs bushing mounts?

Check your shocks, old worn out ones can bang around. Also check the tightness on your spring shackle bolts (the ones that hold the axle to the spring assembly).
