Starter

I own a 1960 Stude wagon with a straight 6 and need to find a new starter.
Can some one reccomend a good source?

Does it have a starter on it now? If so, I would find a local repair shop that specializes it starters, generators and alternators and have it rebuilt. That way you will have the one that came on the car.

On the other hand, do you know for a fact it needs a starter? It may be as simple as a loose cable or a bad solenoid.
