Has any body updated the flathead 6 clylinder with a later model transmision

1. Champion or Commander?
2. Standard or automatic?
If standard, several have done a T5 conversion. A search will show several previous threads
If automatic, IMHO, a TH350 has very little advantage over a good and readily available OEM Borg-Warner and the cost is considerable. Again, IMHO, the TH350 would not be as good a swap as a 700R4. Be aware, the last 700R4 conversion I did was $2000 by the time it was done right. (Insert inevitable disclaimer here about how "$2000 is way high - someone's brother works in a wrecking yard and a cousin is a line mechanic and we did it in a weekend for a six-pack.") Again, a search will show several previous discussions about 700R4 behind V8s. Same principles apply.
