  • Let's see those '66s!

Ed's mention of the pair of '66s at his Thanksgiving Day dinner prompts me to want to see more '66s! I'll start with a few local cars...

Two Cruisers at 2009 chapter Grimsby Museum event

Daytona at hotel at 2010 Crossroads ZM

Cruiser (the third local one) and '57 Hawk at hotel during ZM

Not a local car, but neat mild-custom Commander at Chillicothe

The other operational Hamilton chapter Daytona, also at Chillicothe

    Over to you!

Here's another...not truly a '66, this is a '64 Commander modified to represent one of the Hamilton Police squad car '66s (the only '66s to be both Commanders and cruisers, heh heh) ordered in the hope that a fleet sale might delay the inevitable...

And here's another, again not one of the local cars...nice red Commander on a trailer behind the hotel at the '09 ZM in SB.

Last 66 cruiser I owned but sent to New Zealand a year ago, total rust free original paint on the floors, dash was perfect.

What lovely cars, what is the name of the mag wheel on the car in the first picture. They'd look great on my car.

Thanks for all the pics, I enjoy this type of thread, we get to see cars we may never see in person.

Here's a 2dr Commander that was forsale in Rochester NY last year . I seriously considered it but figured I'd put too much money into it bringing it up to the standard I like .

Probably should of bought it .

Thanks for posting my 66, at that time I had only owned the car for a little over a year and not driven it any distance yet. I had purchased it from its original owner and it had 15,000 original miles and it had been garaged stored for the last 25 years. I had to do the normal maintenance to get it driveable and I was still uncomfortable with making the long drive.
It just turned 20,000 miles after our fall tour this year befor its winter slumber and its ticking like a clock.
