Stolen last night, Very nice 63 Wagonaire, stolen from Vancouver BC. It is beautiful white, with blue interior ( re-done sewn seats with white inserts), bright yellow valve covers and air cleaner. 1964 wheel covers, roof rack. Very nice car. Case# VA 10200138 Contact Vancouver police or local police if you see it. It was in the middle of a title transfer and may be headed anywhere, Even the NW USA.

I sent emails to a few other forum members, hoping they could post them. There are few Wagonaires that look this nice. More info very soon.

I have phoned the owner to try to get an actual Vin. number. This appears to be a mistake in his email that was forwarded to many of us. The car is a very distinctive '63 Daytona Wagonaire, it will be easy to identify.
Pictures will follow after we get verification of details.

Dammit, that annoys me! Hope it gets found and returned, unharmed. I've had cars stolen from me 3 times, and recovered all three intact; one was gone over a year!

I'm a big fan of the 'Amber Alert' system. Wonder how a similar system could be developed for cars among the car community...?

                Vin

The number posted as the VIN number is actually the police case file number. Local Chapters received a package of info as well from the victim.

Sorry to hear of the theft.
Great looking car, I wouldn't mind it (but I've got an alibi).

                      Hope they find it.

I just hope the thieves aren't like those in So. Cal. Down there, they'll steal a car for just a few parts and torch the rest.

                          UH OH...somebody check Palma's garage!

Really, this is a helpless feeling. I had it to happen to me many years ago. I spent the night driving around with a loaded shotgun. If you can believe it, I was much stupider back then. Just glad I didn't encounter the idiots or I would have been the one in a lot of trouble.

Add me to the list of those who hope the car is recovered unharmed. Best of luck to the owner.

If anyone is a Facebook user, they have a stolen vehicle page this could be posted on once pictures and details are confirmed.
