  • R2 fuel pump

Is the R2 pump the same one used on the 57 Golden hawk ? Seems some one said you can get a mopar carter pump and drill out the hole for SC pressure line, which pump ?

If you are talking about factory original pumps no they are not the same although you could possibly interchange them. The '57-58 supercharged pumps are based on the Carter glass-bowl pumps that were used on contemporary Stude V-8s. The R2 pump looks like an R1 pump but without the atmospheric vent and with a fitting for the boost reference line, or in other words, nothing like the stock 259/289 pump.

I believe that there is a MoPar pump that you can modify to work, but you also have to heat/bend the arm as well. not sure which one.

I did a tech post that Bob Johnstone linked to on his tech pages converting a Mopar pump.

I was able to bend the arm without heating. There is also a link to a template I used to bend the arm by Mike Mudd. Works very well.
