Gotta be Ford, since it's a '67. We all know Studebaker stopped making engines in '64 and stopped buying Chevy engines in '66. Looks a lot like a Studebaker, tho. Must be really hard to tell.

I tried to set him straight, but you know how that goes.

"virtually rust free in every regard" Is this guy blind? "Virtually" would mean some, but this car has solid, cancerous rust in several places...look at the pics! Many bend the truth when selling stuff, but this is outright lying. Got a good laugh off of that, not to mention the 67 and engine stuff. Superhawk, huh?

I think he needs to change his auction ad, there's just too much wrong with it. The car's got some hidden value to it, regardless of the mis-information in the description...all the better for Biggsie.

Looks like he shot the hood with a shotgun. I dunno, looked at the engine and it sure looks like a 67 Ferd to me.;)
Was at the parts store yesterday to get a oil pan gasket for my 289.

We found one and I'll have it tomorrow, but the guy said, "how about a normal 289 like a Ford?"

Eric,
I see what MIGHT BE real rot on the right rocker panel. And MAYBE some rot on the lower edge of the deck lid..... other'n that, that thing looks solid. Look at that shot of the front left floorboard.;)
There's no supercharger stuff:( The hood bulge is missing:( The steering wheel's wrong.:( Gages and radio gone.:( That serial number plate reveals a number that IS within the 57 G-Hawk line, but what's with the rusted spot BEHIND where it's tacked on???[}:)] Still, it's a Golden Hawk. I won't play it very high. Shipping charges have to be factored in as well.[B)]

Good points Bob, and good for you or anyone else that wants it for a good deal. I still dislike it when the description is lacking, like many or most ebay ads and this one ranks up there.

Huh, 67 Superhawk. Them fins look pretty high for a hawk of this vintage and er era. I dont see much in the way of the fine bonnet, supercharger, or the emblems for a
Superhawk either. And isnt that engine mounted incorrectly, I coulda swore the fords had the distributor to the front? And of course, I coulda swore they stopped after the 64 model year?
