A word of caution to bidders / buyers on the blue/ white 58 Commander presently on E-bay. The owner appraoched my brother and myself a year or so ago about this car. We went to look it over, and offered what was a realistic price of $700. The car is not a bare metal restoration, and the work in process at that time was not very good quality. It could have been re-done after we looked at it, but the pictures show it to be the same shop, which is not a "restoration" shop. Everything else on the car needs to be taken care of also, so be aware of this project. There was plenty of body/ metal work to be done at the time we looked it over. Best of luck on this one.

Looks nice to me all except the last minute head lights. [At the last minute lets put 4 head lights on it.] I don't think a professional has to do a restoration to be good. I have seen a lot of home garage restorations that are real nice cars.
