  • Need Master Cylinder for a 1966 Commander. Anyone have one for sale?

Does anyone know where I might find a rebuilt master cycliner for my 66 Comander? Thats the one with the flat top and the dual reservoir.

seems to me I used a dual MC from a 72 Nova, in my 66 cruiser, bolt in.......but there should be a casting # somewhere on it and I'm sure Raybestos or Wagner would crossover......

SI 1561611 without power brakes $136, 1557910 with front disk $143.

Just be thankful it isn't a 63 with split system now $335 new---unless you can get an AMC or find a good rebuild somewhere

I've used a Wagner F56193 in my '64 Commander (without power brakes) for several years now. It fits perfectly without modification-it even has the old style bolt down cover. Someone from the old newsgroups recommended it years ago. Rockauto.com sells them for around $65, or you can probably find one locally.

I have 2 of them, I only need one. I think I have 45 or 50 bucks in each. Are NOS in original Wagner boxes. Let me know if ya want one.
