I need to remove the Harmonic Balancer from one engine to another (259 V-8). One is set up for A/C (the Donor) the other isn't (the Donee), thus my reason for changing. I see that I don't have to unbolt the pulley, so what type of puller would be suggested?

Actually all you need to swap is the A/C pulley, the spacer behind it, and the pulley bolts... but to do that, yes, the hub needs to come off.

Well, it may not be THAT easy, Nate. There's some truly creative aftermarket setups that do things different than factory.

IF you've got a factory (or factory style) arrangement in front of you, you'll need to flatten the lockwasher AWAY from the 1&1/2"headed crankshaft bolt and remove said bolt. Then remove the six nuts that hold the pulley(s) to the crank hub. At this point, the crank bolt lockwasher, pulleys, spacers and damPER (!) should be able to be wriggled off the 6 bolts sticking forward thru the hub. (and you'll probably need to use a wrench on those bolt heads to remove the nuts mentioned earlier as there's nothing to keep them from spinning)
