Does anyone know how to measure the rake on an avanti. It seem the rear springs are sagging.I dont see any angle on the car. Is there a ride height?

The specs supplied to the AMA by Studebaker lists the height from level ground to bumper bottom edge at midpoint for front and rear. I need to look them up and will post them this pm if no one else does. -

Even with new springs you might not like the look.......lack of 'rake'........I had new springs made up at a spring shop.....it took them 4 times in & out to get it correct.......and then it was only because they were able to put the new steel in the oven heat them....then quench then arc to my satisfaction.......rear springs are certainly not a plug-n-play proposition.Comment
