View Full Version : More e-bay dreaming (Turning Wheels this time)

I came across several ads on e-bay where the same individual is offering yearly sets of Turning Wheels (12 issues) with a starting bid of $50.00. I wonder how people place these types of value of their items. Just another waste of time and money. Here is a link to one of the auctions:

I suppose it might cost nearly that much to order back issues from Cornerstone, if they were all available. You see them at swap meets for $1 each and can usually get them for 50 cents.
I have thirty years of them in boxes and have found they are best used by giving them to someone to encourage their project, their interest and their membership. They usually do join and, they usually return my copy.

Brad,

Cornerstone get $4.50 each on orders of 10-25 and on 25+ the price is $4.00 each. I have bought a couple of large sets of TW and for $50.00 I would hope to get 8-10 years worth.

Please keep in mund that the SDC/Cornerstone prices that you quote include shipping and handling. With most other sellers, the S&H is sometimes more than the TWs.

Also keep in mind that when you buy back issues from the SDC,the money goes into the club, not into the pocket of a stranger.
