    Recently picked up four wheels and older tires from family in Texas (actually had to jack up an 8E 1/2 ton with 1000 pounds of junk in the back to pull them out...) and just noticed one tire/wheel seems to have had a problem in the past.

    This 15" tire really must have given someone a pretty rough ride.

    This is one side:



    And here is the other - and they are in the same position on the clock.



    Wonder if the tire was a 1/4 pound heavier on the bottom side??? If only they could talk - I am sure it would be an interesting story...

    Methinks it just sat for a long period with only a few pounds of air; just enough to keep the tire on the rim.

      Or someone was storing their extra wheel weights on this rim.

      6 ozs of weights in one spot does not speak well for how bad the tire might have been out of balance.

      Wonder if I can find a local CO-OP tire distributer for a replacement...
