I am trying to find rear (outer) bearings and seals for a 64 R3 I'm currently restoring. SI is out and local bearing company can't cross reference the numbers. I did manage to find Twin Traction clutches.

Don't the R3 flanged axles use the sealed '56 Packard Senior bearings? If that is true, Packard Parts suppliers should have some.StudeRich

If it is a true R3 flanged axle, try a forum search. I posted that info about a year back. They are available from a flaps. The kit is the same as a 1/2 ton Ford pickup of the '60's and early 70's, I think. Comes with seal, bearing and wedding band. I had to replace the right rear bearing on R3 5642. E-mail me if you can't find the post and I'll look up the kit number.
Kit part number - CR 88128-R
