            Thats a really nice-looking Packard. Can anyone give me more details (year, model)? I aspire to be both a Studebaker and a Packard owner, and I like the looks of that 1949-52(?) series.

              To me, it looks like a late '49 (second series) or '50 of one of the lower levels - Deluxe 8 or Eight (not a Super 8 or Custom 8). .

                  Thanks for this post Dave. I love this era of Packard. Makes me think about one that is sitting in shed not far from me. I am almost afraid to ask the owner about it ---- I don't know where I would put it.
