  • I feel really stupid asking this, but...

I looking for the location of a mechanic that was located (I think) in Three Rivers. One of our forum members in San Diego recently recieved a motor that this fellow rebuilt. He has moved to Oregon and I was wondering if anyone knew where?

This is really embarrasing as I've been told this fellow's name numerous times and can't seem to remember it.[:I][8)] Can anyone help this forgetful old man tonight?[)]

That would be Ken Pyle, and Clark Novak is the one (showbizkid) who got the engine rebuild.

It's OK Ron on this forum you know...no question is a stupid one, at least you don't do it EVERY DAY!

I've E-mailed you his Ph#. Ken's in some timy crossroad called Jacksonville Oregon. George, you know where that is?[:I]

Looking on Mapquest, it's just west and south of Medford. George, you and Ken need to get together. I know Ken was anxious to get his hands greazy on a 2R11 he'd found up that way.

Believe it or not, Biggsie, I know exactly where Jacksonville is! I've been there a few times driving for Greyhound. When they were working on the Freeway (I-5) they routed us through there a couple of times. It's back behind Medford. In fact, the town isn't really out in the boonies any more. According to mapquest, it's 185 miles from Lewiston. Now all I have to do is call, beg and plead, and see if he will look at Bess' valves. Then get Ed to behave for a nearly 400 mile round trip. I think I'll have another set of mounting brackets made for the tow bar so that ol' Bess can tow Ed, if need be...
