  • HAMB Thread -- Custom '53-'55 Studebakers

    I know some don't like 'em modified, but some of these are really cool. The "Ute" is included.

    Might get lucky and by me a 53 Studebaker hardtop this week. And now i wonder if there ever was any cool mild or wild custom 1953-1955 Studebakers in...

    I really like what Valley Custom did on both of those front ends, and I think the Kaiser looking grille is really unique
    Those are both more in keeping with the original clean design than some i've seen

    Could the 'Ute' with the cycles in he bed be a cut Conestoga?
    It doesn't quite look like a C-K to me
    I like it though

      It was made from a C coupe with Conestoga parts at the rear.

        Not the "Ute" that Dick restored-- the other one shown
        There are two in the thread
        The one I'm talking about is dark , with louvers on the hood, and the rear window would appear to be flat unlike Dick's
