Learned the car business at Studebaker Corporation and proud of it!

Just received a slick full-color twelve-page brochure announcing the Grand Re-opening of the Spokane Jaguar, Volvo, Land-Rover dealership, Lyle Pearson Premier Motor Cars.

Mr. Pearson appears to be in his '70s, and provides an abbreviated biography of his more than 40 years in the automotive business. One of the things of which he is most proud is "Lyle learned the car business at the Studebaker Corporation."

I believe Pearson's group is out of Boise.

This is slightly OT...and came to Spokane after the previous LR/Jag/Volvo dealer ran the dealership into the ground...too many horror stories to tell here. But suffice it to say that my wife had to buy her new Volvo on the western side of the state but we'll use the local guy for service...which I've heard good things about.
