Steering columnn differrences

Was there any difference between steering cloumns in a 59 Hawk and a 61 Hawk? Both are 3 spd's with overdrive.

Hi,
According to the parts catalog, the 59 length is 32-35/64''. The 61 is 32-7/16". This concerns the steering post jacket.
