The 47 business coupe Sal has been working on has been interesting. It was a non runner when Sal got, but once he got spark to her, and replaced the fuel fouled plugs it fired right up. Sal put it in gear, but no movement. Sal found the speedo spinning, and so was the drive shaft. Finally, some good news, the axle is spinning in the drum, might be just a missing key. Funny, the reason we find for "drivers" being parked.

I pulled the drum off the rear axle and found nothing more than a missing key. I'll pick one up tomorrow and drive the little beast across the pasture a couple times to see what else happens or doesn't happen. So far it purrs like a sewing machine and appears to go in gear easily. I can't wait to drive it.

A two-tone bc! I like it!

I keep 1/4" key stock in the screwdriver drawer. I like to replace them every few times I pull the rear drums and the CASO in me prefers to make my own.

John

Cute little vixen, hope she goes to a good home. Sal also did a nice job of bringing out the best in her.

You East Coast and MidWest guys may really want to look this one over. Although its not a daily driver without some effort... this car is as solid an example of a Biz Coupe you may ever find. The only rust I found on the car are the bubbles on the lip of the trunk, and even those are minor. I ran a refrigerator magnet over the usual Stude spots as well as the rockers, doors, fenders and found no obvious bondo. The floors are solid, as is the trunk. Its also one of the straightest bodies I've seen of this era.
Well, Here's the link:

It might be leaving the US based on this question :

"hello how long is this car in meters or feet and the hight . thanks gregor"

That's OK as long as he don't ask how many pounds of sodium nitrate it will hold.

and as long as he doesn't ask you to take a cashier's check for three times the purchase price, deposit it your account and electronically transfer half the extra to his agent to cover shipping ;>) This just happened to a friend who sold a car on eBay.

I've shipped maybe a dozen out of the US without a issue. Most of the time, they wire the money right into my bank account and they always arrange shipping so it's no different than a US sale on my end
