I took the long way to rebuild the rear brakes on my R2 Hawk:
Remove drums.
Remove shoes and wheel cylinders.
Search for several days for wheel cylinder kits with pistons.
Purchase kits from NAPA, UP127. $14.
Buy new cylinder hone. $20. Won't go in 3/4" cylinder.
Buy narrower set of stones. $7.
Hone cylinders, can't remove pits.
Search for a place to have sleeved. (Quoted $50 each)
Told to remove bleeder fittings. (twisted one off)
Ordered new cylinders (close to $200)
Bought new shoes ($20 that's cheep!)
So far it has only taken 1 week. But it is HOT here in S. Texas working under the shade of a mesquite tree!
