I will take pictures tonight and post them. I have a 64 Cruiser, but Daytona on a 64 uses the same trim, just painted different.

Here are the two pictures I took tonight. Hard to get an accurate reading, hope this helps. Let me know and I can try again.

          Parallelogram 8 Emblem Location

OK, sorry it took so long, I checked one Canadian and two South Bend cars and all were different, but not a whole lot. Using the 1 inch mark instead of the sometimes inaccurate end hook, I got: 6 7/8", 6 3/4" and 6 1/2" from the bottom of the Daytona side trim to the top of the "8" Emblem.

From the rear end of the front fender to the nearest tip of the "8" Emblem I got: 4 1/4", 4 1/2" and 4 1/2".

All were cars with ORIGINAL factory fitted front fenders.

It seems that they put the template on the fenders close to where they were supposed to be, but not exactly.

Because of the SIX Cylinder cars not needing them, they were not "Jig drilled" like the Cruiser, Daytona, Commander, Challenger and possibly Studebaker scripts, common hole pattern were.
