  • Checking oil pressure on a V8?

This Tuesday my newly re-built 64 289 will run for the first time!(I hope) I have a 64 Lark type guage set up under the hood for viewing and will tap into the front of the driverside head.HERE IS THE SILLY QUESTION does it matter what one of the two plugs I use?

They both come directly off of the same oil gallery, so no it does not. I have always found it easier to use the one on the inboard side of the left head where the bi-pass oil filter was connected, or even a "T" at the right head.
