John

Now is the time the project starts to look like it's coming together and finishing it is worth what it's taken to get there.

Gonna look great

The body is sitting on a donor chassis Mike uses for painting. The chassis with newly rebuilt engine is the one in my signature pics. The engine received a competition rebuild with 0.060" overbore, hypereutectic pistons, ported heads with R3 valves, aluminum ported intake, R3 headers and a supercharger. The car originally had factory air so she will receive a sanden AC compressor so she can both be supercharged and cool on a summer day in Oklahoma. The frame and suspension parts are all powder coated gloss black. New front and rear springs and all suspension parts are done. Mike is working on the rear end now, it was a 3:31 ratio standard differential it is getting a set of new alloy Fairborn Studebaker flanged axles coupled to an Auburn Gear Posi-Trac unit with 3:73 ratio gear and pinion. After it receives it's Tremec TKO 5 speed trans then Mike will be putting the body back on to the chassis. The interior is receiving Recaro black leather seats, new premium black carpet and all that is left to do before starting interior is to put in new wiring harness, have gauges reburfished and install dash with new pad. I antincipate being able to drive it home this fall and I can't wait.
