I believe we touched on your need for A/C last year, the only information that I know of............would be contained in this post, poster "BKE" is the ONLY one I know of in quite sometime that offered any 61 A/C components for sale.

See if he kept it or sold it.

I've got a 61 Lark HT parts car with A/C. What do you need?

Is it safe to assume that this is the rare, one year, integrated, factory air conditioning system (and not just a hang under the dash separate A/C unit)?

Bob A. - By "integrated" we mean that it combines with the heater and can use fresh/outside air, not that it is built into the dashboard. It still is below the level of the dashboard.

There's a Lark AC setup for sale on the studebaker swap pages right now. I'm not sure what year it's out of.

The Engine components at least, would have to be for the Engine you have, it is not noted which it is, but I do seem to remember it being a 170 OHV 6, right? If so, the Engine parts at least will be harder to come by.

If Fred's are an option you would need to know which those are.

Tha 61 Lark is a HT with 259. It hasn't run in 30 years. The interior was closed, so the evaporator ass'y, ducting etc. looks good. The compressor clutch is stuck, but they are available - rebuildable, or use a Sanden. The condensor looks good as well. The car is intact, so all the bracketing is there. I saved it for possible use in a 62, but I've abandoned that idea.
