  • Possible Studillac?

    Could it be one?

  • #2
    Doubt it.
    Column shifter...
Caddy engine looks way too new...
    But....
It is just north of Chesnee, so you could run down and grab lunch at the Bantam Chef!

Easiest way to rule out it being a Bill Frick car is that he only did the Caddy swap to K bodies.

            Still a cool car.

The remains of what might have been a cool car in the day. The other clues it is a later build are the Hawk dash and the hole in the hood.

Bill Frick didn't just do the Caddy swap on K-bodies. He did the swap on
any 1953-55 Stude you provided. At least one genuine Bill Frick 1954 C-body Studillac still survives.
He also did convert at least two 1954 Conestoga wagons.
