Caddy engine looks way too new...

Easiest way to rule out it being a Bill Frick car is that he only did the Caddy swap to K bodies.

K body is a hardtop,and C body is coupe.

The remains of what might have been a cool car in the day. The other clues it is a later build are the Hawk dash and the hole in the hood.

Bill Frick didn't just do the Caddy swap on K-bodies. He did the swap on
any 1953-55 Stude you provided. At least one genuine Bill Frick 1954 C-body Studillac still survives.
He also did convert at least two 1954 Conestoga wagons.
