You know how the H.A.M.B. has picture threads, well, why don't we start that here. I want to see what you have done with your 53-54 c/k bodied Stude. I need ideas and I am just curious. You will see my car in both the signiature and the links of the signiature. Please post what you have.:) Maybe we can make this a trend and have all different threads so one can get a vision of what other people have done with their Studes.:D

If folks would accurately label their posts in the "Members Pictures" Forum a simple search would suffice.
Here's a link to my '53 Commander C in Photobucket:

rockne10 Your album of the 53 build enjoyed it, anything to do with 53 Studebaker's coupes in particular or 54's
it all started with my cousins 54 Commander coupe, i'll never forget how different that car looked from other cars of that period

Alex i'm in favor of a 53 / 54 C / K photo thread or a members pictures of 53's & members 54's etc. good reference library and idea pool for Stock, Modified, Dry Lakes & Bonneville cars that made Studebaker a legend in land speed racing all over the world and a Milestone Society car

brian- still have the FSR radiator in there. Got a 12" 30 amp spal puller, and DFI controller, have yet to make up the shroud necessary to clear everything, and provide proper suction. As you can see, the pipes have taken some time to get fitment. As you can see, I needed that radiator to get the air intake to clear, and get the hood down. Hopefully, it's enough to keep things at 195 degrees....

Bonney Lake is about 10 miles east of Tacoma. The pictures were taken when I first was able to move the car into my new garage about Oct. 2008. I had it under a tarp for about 30 years so I have spent most of the time dealing with rust
issues since then. I have put in new disc brakes, new shocks, new rear springs and a Dana 60 rear end. I have replaced the floorboards and the trunk floor and repaired a leaky gas tank which has now be reinstalled with an electric fuel pump and a fuel return line.
The engine is a Chrysler 413 which is ready to go in as soon as I paint the firewall area. It is amazing how much time is spent on renewing each part as one goes along(sandblasting, painting, etc.). I hope to make good progress this summer toward getting to the "After" pictures. Here are a few more in progress pictures.

Oops, I meant 'Cadillac' cant use 'Caddy' anymore, must use the full name. The GM name police might get me.<G>

The mirrors are vision mirrors, a Canadian co. here in ON.

check

They look great i think, but be aware they are small.

I have plenty of pics but don't want to hog the thread.

Thats looking really interesting, are there twin turbos or single? Thats some serious plumbing,I'm surprised it all fits in there, are you doing the engine yourself?
I'm really impressed, I'd love to turbo mine, but I really can't justify it even to myself, but man i love the thought of it.
