The 1958 hardtop would look very nice collecting dust in my shed.

They were in a skanky old barn about an hour from me.

One of our members was interested in a 57 Provincial on eBay, and asked me to go look at it for him. It was in with these, plus a 58 Chevy 4dr. Biscayne and a 66 Commander (?) with 16K alleged actual miles, but really crunchy underneath. Long story short- the member passed on the Provincial and I bought it (still have it). Tried to buy the Packard but it had already been sold, the 66 sold on eBay for about $2500. The seller turned out to be a shyster who ripped off the owners, and was REALLY p*ssed at me because I paid for the Provincial directly to the owner.

Always wondered what happened to that HT.....

I thought the kids name was Damon and he was trying to say that he was selling the cars for his uncle. There was also a red 58 Packard Wagon that was bought for a ton of money and was shipped over to Belgium.

You're right Joe, it WAS Damon. It was a local elderly owner, not sure if it was a relative but he told me he was just selling for a customer. He ended up being a slimeball who stole a ton of parts that were also in the barn, and a box with some old coins in it. I had bought the car, but when I went back stuff was missing- NOS glass in the boxes, CO license plates, the front pans and bumper, etc. He tried to get me to help him market the 66, which I agreed to, then he pulled his crap. Shortly after he was "no longer a registered user" on eBay.
